COMPANY HISTORY

Marinucci Landscaping's beginnings date back the summer of 2000. At the age of the 13, Richard Marinucci was tasked with the care of his ailing grandfather's property. With a passion for landscaping and lawn care, his grandfather imparted his wisdom onto his grandson. He encouraged Richard to his newly learned skills in landscaping to seek further employment in the community. In two years and with the help of his teachers at Canisius High School, Richard created a pamphlet for a landscaping service, and distributed them door-to-door in Williamsville. With this, the seeds of what would become "Marinucci Landscaping" were sown.

Richard is proud to boast a diverse education. He attended Canisius High School, pursued a collegiate education at SUNY Geneseo, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. During this time he maintained his customer base by returning home each weekend in the spring and fall to work. In addition to his degree, Richard took supplementary classes in business and entrepreneurship while attending Geneseo. Following graduation, he has attended several classes within the the Horticultural Department at Niagara County Community College. These classes include landscape design, landscape installation and maintenance, plant protection (disease and pest management), and DynaSCAPE design program.
